Addresses

Hi there CHLers!!

Its that time of the year so I'm trying to remind all our members to update your addresses please.  No pressure if you don't want to add yours in but I'd love to have all our members do this.  Don't worry. Only registered members get a chance to look at the addresses.  Since we've taken a harder stance on lurkers and newbies, it shouldn't give cause for misuse.  

Word of caution to all members!

Addresses are only meant to be used for occasions like sending greeting cards, birthday cards and in the event of a grand occasion like a baby shower or housewarming, gifts!  Anything else will not be tolerated.  No misuse for advertisement or spam purposes - abuse of this privilege is considered grounds for immediate termination of account or worse.  

P.S.  The address book seems to have a slight glitch at the moment that we will be remedying.  Old addresses are appearing beside the updated ones, so bear with us as we sort this out.  Meanwhile, please go ahead and update your details.

P.P.S  Those of you who won't use this feature, please, please, pretty please PM me with your addresses so I can send cards to you all.  Gillian esp! I know I should have your address but my PDA crashed and burned my PC too... help?

I just looked at my profile & it says Los Angeles, CA. Do you want me to write my full address?? I don't mind.

sure, go ahead, Param! :-)  But do it under addresses in the Main Menu. Not in your profile.

I wrote out the whole thing, including a little bit about " living abroad, description etc.
When I submitted it, it said one error, "go back" & then when I did that, the whole thing was gone?

So sorry the system ate your effort...gah, hate when that happens to me.  Did you try again?  Try saving a little at a time so that you don't lose all the data if the system does another number on you.

Addresses are a different menu from your profile.
