New Features and Addresses

Hi Everyone!

There's a new feature available in View Account (under User Menu Heading) called About Me.  This is where you can give a short bio of yourself so that newbies can read it and get to know us.  This will also help us out when we get newcomers and have to keep repeating ourselves when we welcome them.  How much information you want to put in is entirely up to you.  Think of this as a kind of introductions database.  Hopefully this will also help newcomers feel a little less alienated if they know a little about the community before jumping right in.

The other thing that we would like everyone to do is please, please, please.....enter your information into the addresses feature under Main Menu.  There are only 6 so far in there and I know there are more of us in the community.  The Addresses feature was put in for our own use - i.e. sending out greeting cards, gifts, shopping requests (as in Lyn's case for an example) and even to make phonecalls.   Members ARE prohibited from using it for commercial purposes.  

Both the profiles and addresses are private and only registered members can access them so rest assured that the public can't get hold of them.

This is a heads-up for the newbies and a reminder for the older members!  

Alamak Nish....I'm still residing in Malaysia so do I qualify ah? Thats why I tak mau tulis all the info cuz this site is supposedly for Malaysian's abroad mahh...if I get the green light then I will enter whatevers needed lah. Lemme know k? :-)

Aiya, Litha, I just feel like you tulis jugaklah. You are a member, aren't you - a very faithful one, I must add! :-D Who  knows, we might kirim something ke, or  when we visit M'sia ke, so many senario lah. Also lah, if you pioneer in doing it, some other fellow Malaysians like yourself who  are yet to be here, also feel they can write too and will not feel like an outsider either,  because we are all family here, whether you are now east or west, north or  south.

This is just my 2 cents,OK?  :lol:

p/s: Don't worrylah, one day bila sampai, bolehlah update you punya address nanti.

Gillian hit it right on the head. Please don't feel like you're different because circumstances are different we all are in different circumstances. In other words, don't alienate yourself lah :-D and this goes for everyone also. We want to help each other not divide and make distinctions okay.

Hey Litha....Like Lyn and Gillian said lah.  We still can send you cards right?  It doesn't matter that you aren't Stateside yet girlie.  You are still part of our community lah!  Same thing goes for Kitman.  Don't be shy shy one.

Gees,  Nish, Lyn,.... those two girls Kitman and Litha and getting to be too cunning for us lah.  rotfl  You know what, ladies? Let's just pray :pray:  that the two will be here by Christmas so we can save on our stamp postage money  rotfl
